We are not ants

Global Voices is an international community of more than 300 bloggers and translators who work together to bring you reports from blogs and citizen media everywhere, with emphasis on voices that are not ordinarily heard in international mainstream media. It is a non-profit organization; the access to the contents is free. They rely on donations and the voluntary work of their bloggers.

Their aim is to support the diversity of opinions and the freedom of speech by giving people and stories, which are not found in conventional media, public attention. They give us the opportunity to get to know stories, opinions and news produced by citizens, even if we do not understand their original language.
